Jesus came to the “sick.” To those who really needed Him. He did not pass by the sick, the outcast, and the lonely. Christmas is a holiday that reminds us of Christ’s most important mission. That is why, on this day, our team went to hospitals and boarding schools, where people are in very difficult, painful and lonely situations.

In the Krasnodar Children’s Cancer Hospital there are about 70 children. They are here for many months, fighting for their lives. Every day, children undergo painful procedures. Their mothers are with them crying daily. Last year on Mother’s Day, we arranged a special day for them. We made coffee, invited musicians to play the saxophone, and started a creative workshop with them. It was so nice to see smiles on their faces.

The children’s hospice has nearly 60 children with diagnoses who are incurable. Hopelessness is everywhere! Other children are placed in a children’s rehabilitation center. They are waiting for their parents to stop drinking and change their lifestyle. Some have luck and some don’t. Some parents lose parental rights … Children will be sent either to other families or to the orphanage.

At Christmas, we went to these children. We carried gifts, a good mood, and most importantly – the story of the Savior’s birth. Thank you for participating in the gifts. We invite you to come with us and become part of our team!
