We organized an outdoor trip together with our home group, and this day became an unexpected gift. In the welcoming atmosphere, people began to open their hearts. Some shared about their wounds, some about their victories, and some simply felt needed and heard for the first time.
One young woman confessed that she had quit drugs several years ago. She said that now she sees how God had been guiding her all along and that meeting us was no coincidence. On that trip, she accepted Christ into her heart, and we gave her a New Testament.
Another young woman shared how she had opened a door to the spiritual world through mystical practices. Panic attacks, nightmares, and fear had haunted her. But that evening she renounced her past and invited Christ into her life.
A third young woman said she had heard about God her whole life but never felt a true need for Him. Now she realized that the Lord is calling her, and she responded. We gave her a Bible — now she reads it every day with her son.
