Lebanon – Gifts for Refugees

Lebanon – Gifts for Refugees

For Christmas, we made another trip to Lebanon! During the war and unrest, the people of Lebanon are facing great difficulties. Currently, they are without electricity, water, and communication. All of Lebanon, especially the city of Tyre, has been bombed by Israel due to the hostile group Hezbollah, which is hostile toward Israel.

Despite the war situation in Lebanon, since December 10, 2024, the Kirnev family has conducted numerous evangelistic services and children’s Christmas events. During our missionary trip, we held services in cities such as Zahleh, Tripoli, Beirut, and Tyre. The services took place among Syrian, Iraqi, and Lebanese refugees. We held children’s Christmas services, where we distributed gifts to children, and all of this was accompanied by the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.

We also conducted services among the refugees, distributing food aid to each family. With God’s help, we plan another missionary trip in the near future. In connection with this, we want to ask for your help. Bless us and help spread the Gospel in Lebanon! Lebanon is in a state of war, and this is the best time to spread God’s Word.

We deeply need your fervent prayers, because we know that this is the most important. Also, every contribution to this project will be a great blessing for the upcoming planned events.

May our Lord be glorified in everything. May God abundantly bless each of you.

Bethesda – Photo on the Calendar

Bethesda – Photo on the Calendar

In the last two months of the outgoing 2024 year, our team has done a great deal of work: Christmas performances were held, gifts, calendars, and, of course, the great joy was proclaimed: “…today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.”

You can see the photo of the girl – who looks exactly like the child featured on the Christian children’s calendar for 2025. We went to a village with a performance, and during a personal conversation with one of the mothers, we learned that they have a daughter with cerebral palsy (CPC), who almost never walks, as she is physically unable to (except for visits to the hospital for treatment). When we entered their house and walked into the room, the first to freeze were the bunnies (teenagers in costumes), then I, followed by the mother and the little girl, after I pulled out the calendar.

“Mom, these bunnies brought me!” – that’s what the little girl said as she took the children’s calendar from my hands. This unforgettable moment left a bright light and a warm beam in the heart of everyone present, from God’s love, mercy, and care.

We are deeply grateful to each one of you for your persistent prayers. Your prayers are not just words; they are the powerful force of the Holy Spirit, which helps us move forward, inspiring us toward new achievements, goals, and victories. For Christ’s sake, please continue to pray for the youth, the teenagers from the volunteer team, so that they may be strong in faith and unwavering in following Christ. Also, pray for all those who heard the Good News, who received the calendars, Gospels, and Bibles.

Vietnam – Joy for Children!

Vietnam – Joy for Children!

For Christmas, we visited Laos, distributing printed materials such as calendars, brochures, and postcards. We served the poor lepers and sent money to the family of a missionary who was recently killed for his faith. We also purchased construction sets and t-shirts for the children’s ministry.

In Vietnam, we started organizing a children’s program in the Raglai tribe. It was initially very difficult; it was hard to gather the children, but eventually, the crowd grew so large that we ran out of the 50 gifts we had prepared. We were thankful to have some treats with us to distribute as well. We ended the celebration with Bible stories and coloring books. Those who stood out received special prizes.

This year, we have a special need and ask for your prayer support. The space we are renting for our Sunday services has become too small, as more and more people are attending. We are praying to rent a house where we can gather anytime, 24/7. To do this, we are lacking $300 per month. There are many things we would like to include in this house (we already have experience, as we had such a house for 3 years).

Dear friends, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your ministry here with us. Your prayers and help are contributing to God’s work. Praise God for you.

Word of Truth – Celebration!

Word of Truth – Celebration!

This year, our congregation put on a Christmas performance with a large number of musical elements and songs, all aimed at glorifying the newborn Christ. The essence of the performance was the idea that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the Messiah, and it is important for the born Savior to always be the center of this holiday.

At the scheduled time for the performance, the House of Prayer was filled with people who had received invitations. Believers were eager to bring someone they knew. This time, many people who had never entered the House of Prayer before came. We had been inviting many of them for a long time, but only now did they respond to the invitation. We intentionally oriented the performance not only for children but also for families. Therefore, as they say, “both old and young” came to the celebration.

The hall, which accommodates 80 people, was overcrowded, and those who arrived later had to watch the performance from standing positions. The performance lasted just over an hour, and the time passed unnoticed, with the emotional connection between the performers and the audience felt throughout the evening. The climax of the performance was the distribution of the long-awaited gifts.

We are very happy to report that two more young people from our training center have become members of the Church and have publicly decided to follow Jesus! We are located in a mountain village where many children grow up without parents, as their parents work in large cities. This is the story of Fai and Art.

Fai grew up with her foster grandmother, learning to cook over an open fire, sew by hand, and bathe in a bucket of water. From a young age, she attended our training center, acquiring life skills, shaping her character, and learning about Jesus. Around the age of 12, she began helping younger children at the center. After finishing high school, she moved to the big city to live with her parents and continue her education.

“In the city, everything was completely different,” Fai shared. “I couldn’t go to church and wondered how I could stay close to God. But I saw how He cared for me. He even sent a Christian classmate who invited me to her church. Looking back, I see God’s hand in my life from the very beginning. I want to follow Him and share His love with others.”

We continue our weekly online Bible studies with Fai, Art, and other young believers to support and strengthen them in their faith! Thank you for your prayers!

PNG – Our Day!

PNG – Our Day!

I’m writing this message under the steady rumble of the generator – there has been no electricity for three days, and although I try not to think about it, hearing the old machine barely drumming away, I sometimes wonder what will burn out first – the freezer, the computer, or the pump. I remember when we lived in a hut, these problems didn’t exist at all – electricity was simply absent by default, and we couldn’t afford a generator (even one as weak as the one we have now). God is good! And I will not take electricity for granted. It is a huge blessing, even if it works intermittently. But I really hope that I will be able to use the oven today: after all, it’s the men’s birthday today! Matthew turned 16 yesterday, and today Eugene is celebrating his birthday. I must note that he’s celebrating it in a hardware store, three hours away from us, buying nails, boards, roofing material, and other supplies for the school we hope to build deep in the jungle, God willing!

We thank the Lord for His protection and mercy towards us, congratulate Eugene and Matthew on their birthdays, and eagerly look forward to many more years together here on earth and in eternity.
