As we were finishing the year, we prayed and asked the Lord to give us people who had never heard about Him. The place we chose for the ministry of reconciliation is 1,700 kilometers away from us. We have been sowing the Word there for 3.5 years among ethnic groups and tribes living in the mountains. This time, we traveled there by plane, bus, and mopeds.

Three years ago, our team went to visit a family from the Red Dao tribe to pray for them and help establish them in the truth of the Gospel. In this family, there are two sons who are drug addicts, and we wanted to talk with them, but when they found out, they ran away from home. We prayed for them, entrusting them into God’s hands. He heard our prayers, healed one of the brothers, and gave him repentance. Today, he believes in Jesus, studies at a Christian school, and prays that gatherings would take place in his home.

There in the mountains where they live, shamanism is widespread. We believe that the Lord will also save the other brother through the prayers of the church. They live very modestly, without toilets, and many do not have electricity in their homes. However, they do not lack food—they grow rice and raise livestock and poultry. But there is a need for printed materials, as not all of them can read in Vietnamese.

Please pray that there would be an opportunity to serve these tribes 2–3 times a year, strengthening them in the truth of the Gospel!
