Thank you for your prayers. The last summer was not easy. We left our hometown, that is 37miles away from Nice in France located in the mountains. My family was in the Czech Republic and I continued looking for a place to stay and building connections with the Russian speaking population in Italy. Refugees from Africa and the Middle East came here in large numbers to find shelter. Many refugees are open to a dialogue about Christ. I spend the night in the mountains on the dacha that belongs to my brother Alexander. Even though this is a beautiful place, it is not suitable to live with a family.
Italy, by law, offers free housing to families with children where parents don’t have an income. Unfortunately, this benefit is exploited by many dishonest people, and those are not a few. That’s why landlords strictly check if the person, who is looking to live in their apartments, can pay. Most often they require a work verification to move in. Of course, I don’t have such document and many landlords didn’t believe me. Thank God that in the last two days he made a miracle for us and we received two offers. We chose the offer that is closer to the local school. The children now need to go to an Italian school since we are in an apartment in Ospedaletti, near Sanremo. They like the new school and say that Italian is easier than French and they were welcomed friendly. French is the second language here so with Gods help they will master it.
We see how the Lord starts to impact this region. We meet in groups on Fridays and everybody who wants to study the bible is joining. We also started to meet on Sundays in the church (www.ebbn.org/acces.html) The Lord works in the hearts of people and there have been wonderful meetings, in the church and at Irina’s house. Not long ago she fell and hurt herself. When we came to visit her, she had friends over at her house. God gave us a wonderful meeting and conservation of the Gospel.
Last year I asked for you to pray for bible study groups to form and for opening a church in Nice. Now I ask if you could not only pray for Nice but also for the church in Sanremo. We can’t do it without Him and have to put our hope in him if we want to see His power and miracles.
I still keep visiting Nice. The Lord has told me: ”Look far and wide for one person, even one who acts justly”? and sends me interesting people that I can meet. Last year I was given a scooter that helps me to move quickly along the promenade. I now use the car less than I did last year. It costs 2 Euros to get to Nice by train, and when I’m there I use the scooter to move around and then I go back by train again.
Please don’t forget to pray for the family of George and Sharam, they are close to the Lord but traditions and the opinion of their relatives influence them strongly. Thank you for praying for Herman and Irina, who are moving to serve in Spain. I thank everybody who is supporting our ministry in Europe with prayers and financially.
Many thanks for your prayers. Three of our girls were able to undergo the CEF training which was held in Bangkok. I was a blessing for them to see other Christians and the warm relationships between them. The training process was not easy but with Gods help, they were able to complete it. God sent good people with them on the way and they were also to see the sea (Gulf of Thailand) for the first time in their life. They are very grateful to everybody who supported them with prayers and financially. Please keep praying for Gikik, Ing, and Ping so that they can use all their acquired knowledge in the ministry.
We are thankful for our church, which provided finances to purchase clothes for our girls. With tears in her eyes, the seven-year-old said: ”Thank you, I never owned a dress in my life.” This seems so insignificant but for them it is very important.
Our children’s choir participated for the first time in our worship service, and two girls were playing the piano. Praise God for sending us people who can teach our children.
Recently we had a special evening in our church. We remembered how God built relationship with people. The way God was interacting with biblical heroes in the past is how he wants to communicate with us. We studied the scripture, prayed, sang and ate together. One of the girls said: ”I hope to see my friends and family in heaven.”
All of our children are from Non-Christian families. They pray for their parents but don’t see any fruits of it. Last week we listened to the testimony of Ploy, and how God answered her prayers. When she came to Christ she prayed for her parents for many years, and waited daily for an answer. Seven years later they turned their life’s over to Christ and her father is the founder of our church.
We are very happy to have a stove in our church. Here our children learn how to bake and enjoy the sweet they created. There is no recipe that they can ruin, they eat everything they cook with joy.
They are already planning to share their baking creations with families in need. They also plan to bake for church events, sick in local hospitals, which we regularly visit on Sundays, and of course for orphans around us. We want our children to understand that they receive blessings by giving. Thank God.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ! Thank you very much for your prayers and support! God is faithful to His promises and when we rely on Him we can expect Him to help us.
On Mother’s Day, we invited local mothers and their children to our house of prayer. Many of them visited us for the very first time. Not knowing what to expect they were watching everything that was happing. We congratulated all mothers and grandmothers of this beautiful holiday.
This holiday is special in Thailand, and we used this opportunity to get to know the mothers and grandmothers of our students. For them this program was special. The children sang and congratulated their mothers. It was nice to see mothers and children sitting together because many of them grew up with their grandparents or other relatives.
Since Mother’s Day has passed, we now have a desire to organize a family day, where the whole family can come together and hear the about Christ.
Prayer Request:
For every child who hears about God would bear fruit in their hearts.
For the staff, that God would send the right people who are ready to help in the ministry.
For our elderly women who come to church and are not employed.
… for You were slain and redeemed us to God from His blood from every nation and tribe … Rev. 5: 9.
In Cam Ranh, we met with brothers and sisters at Ho Chi Minh City Airport. The next day we had a conference for ministers in the morning, and we shared the Word of God with our Vietnamese brothers. I was asked to give my testimony and this changed all our plans. I talked about God’s love for me, how he changed me and about my ministry in the church. After my testimony, a sister in Christ approached me and solemnly said: “Thank God, we are on the right track.” She reacted that way because I talked about the fruits of the addicted people ministry.
I confirmed them to be on the right path by ministering to drug addicts, alcoholics, and homeless people through opening rehabilitation centers. Mimi is the name of the sister who was relieved to be on the right path, she called her brother and asked us to meet with him. That’s how we ended up in the Capitol of Vietnam.
In one day, we visited 3 rehabilitation centers, to study the Bible with the workers and help people in need and see that they are on the right path. On this journey, we saw that we can do a lot since we have experience with addicted people.
In December 2016 we visited Vietnam again. at how people live. Some houses don’t even have a floor and we wanted to see the slums and the people who live there. The Lord gave us an interpreter which is one of our brothers and with him we visited villages and looked saw homes where kids go to sleep hungry.
Vietnam has a high percentage of poverty, only veterans, civil servants and disabled people receive a pension which is around 3-10 Dollars a month.
Please pray for our family and that God would lead us, please pray for the people of Vietnam whom we want to serve by bringing them the Gospel. Blessings to you in Christ.
