Children’s Day Celebration

Children’s Day Celebration

I want to thank you for your prayers and participation. In Malachi 4:6, God says that He will turn the hearts of fathers to the children … We and the team visited two orphanages and a children’s hospital on children’s celebration day. More than 100 children received gifts and our love.

One of our sisters went with us for the first time, and she was overwhelmed with emotion when the children called her “mother” “This trip has changed my life,” she said. The director of the orphanage asked to say words of congratulations and expressed her gratitude for our visit. Brothers and sisters, this is the mercy of God. He opens the door through the children.

We congratulated the children and tried to make them feel that they are loved by God. We have a 12-year-old boy who was just hospitalized. His name is Kostya, he has a severe manifestation of leukemia. Because of his sickness, he started to squint, and two days later he went blind. Doctors are trying to help him, but he is in terrible pain. It is connected to the machines and is in serious condition. We gave him everything he needs for the first weeks. His mother asked for psychological help, and we will be next to them, because we can’t otherwise. Thank you for your prayers and financial support that belong to these children. We will show them the love of Christ by caring for them. We really need your help!

Why did Daniel die in the house?

Why did Daniel die in the house?

Thank you for your kindness! We continue to communicate with Katya and her son Misha. Her emotional state is much better, Katya wants to live and no longer blames herself for the death of her son. This month was especially hard for her. Katya just needed to be pulled out of a depression. We rented an apartment for them, helped to make repairs and to get settled. We had to collect things piece by piece because everything she had has burned down. My daughters became friends with her younger child, and we took him to us so that she could get some rest. We thank God, Katya prays and goes to church, but she has questions: “Why did my 6-year-old son burn out and what did I do? What is this punishment for? ”In general, it is still hard for her, but we will continue to help them, and I believe that God will be glorified through this family!

Now we need to look through the ashes of the charred house to sell the land and to buy something new for them. Thank you for participating, donating and praying. May God reward you according to the riches of His glory!

In Russia June 1stis the day of the protection of children, and we will congratulate our children who are being treated at the oncologic center. There are 60 children. And the orphanage has 52 children. This is another chance to give them warmth and love. I am very glad that God gives us such a privilege to serve these children with you!

Katya lost her son Daniel

Katya lost her son Daniel

A few weeks ago, a woman asked us to help her friend. I contacted her by phone and was shocked by what I heard. On February 28, a fire broke out and Daniel, a boy six years old, died in the fire. His mother Katya went to buy diapers for the younger son Misha (1.5 years), and when they returned, 6 firefighters were extinguishing the house. Katya rushed into the burning house to get her son, but it was too late; the child suffocated from the smoke. The firemen did not know that there was a child in the house and just fought the fire.

She is raising the children alone, they are from different fathers, and even after the fire, these men did not respond to her. At the age of 14 she was brutally raped and hid it from her parents because she was ashamed. Not knowing who to trust, her life was gradually destroyed. Katya asked me: “Tell me what is wrong with me, why I’ve been proving to people all my life that I’m human, that you can love and take care of me.”

I had a good conversation with Katya, we took on to care for her and her child Misha. I said that she needed God and true friends, and I am ready to go with them this path. We have a lot of work to do, starting with the forgiveness of people and accepting the Gospel.

Friends, they really need us, in addition to emotional problems, there are material needs as well. She lost all her belongings in the fire, even all of her documents. We found an apartment for them, and we are thinking about how to restore the house.  She need help with clothes, documents, and the rental of temporary housing. Today Katya took the Bible from me, just hugged it and cried. On Sundays, she wants to go to the congregations and join us in worship.

Brothers and sisters may God bless everybody of you.

Peace and grace to you, dear friends and the church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Here is some information about me: my name is Eugene, I am 40 years old and married to Marina for 12 years. During this time, the Lord blessed us with four beautiful children: Polina (8), Simon (6) years, Yefim (4) and Yana is 3 years old. We are expecting our fifth child.

In 2005, while being in the rehabilitation center, I heard the joyful news about Jesus and I accepted Him as my personal Savior. At that time, Alexander Kulpin was leading the ministry and under his leadership, my life began as a Christian. Subsequently, we became friends, and God has been leading us together for many years. From Alexander, I took over the ministry of Mercy “Bethesda.” Thanks to your participation in this good ministry, the work didn’t stop to this day.

In 2017 during winter we had a baptism. One brother of Bethesda, who is partially paralyzed, made a covenant with God and was baptized. Today, we have three more who pray and prepare for the baptism in summer. We currently have 26 people. Fifteen of them are between the age of 50 to 70 years, eight people have physical disabilities: amputation of limbs, partial loss of speech and coordination. Many of those who live here do not have any documents or receive pensions. There is still a lot of work to do. But our goal is not only to assist people with physical limitations. We pray and work to create and organize, an active children’s ministry in the village and our local community.

During the summer we organize playgrounds. Praise the Lord, the administration of the village is friendly towards us. We organize Christmas concerts and Easter concerts, with the help of brothers and sisters from the Omsk communities. In the Christmas week, we held 2 events, presented 130 gifts and shared the Gospel with over 250 people.

We thank God, for what he has already accomplished, for the development of His work here in Omsk land and we continue to pray for His help in order to bear fruit.

During the fall, the construction of a sauna began, because there is nowhere to take a shower and we prayerfully ask you to help us. There is already a foundation, the basement is laid out and the lumber has been purchased. We need the interior and exterior material of the bath complex. This requires us to purchase basalt wool, siding, a furnace for heating and pipes – all materials are will cost approximately $2000. Thank you for your prayers and material service. May the Lord reward you for your help

Omsk – Testimony of life

Omsk – Testimony of life

Greetings to you brothers and sisters! I want to share with you the story of one girl. Twelve months ago, she called and asked if I could help her repair the relationship with her husband. Her name is Sveta, his name Illya. From the first minutes of the conversation I felt a strong pressure and distrust, and it made very worried.

After listening to them, it was obvious that inside this girl she was deeply wounded and desperate. I shared with the testimony of the salvation of my family, which helped them to trust and open their hearts. Sveta talked about everything that she felt. She spoke for six hours without stopping. Her father when Sveta was 3 years old and her mother remarried a former soldier, who was adapting to normal life after the war.

Her mother had to work two jobs, and she was with her stepfather at home. He didn’t want her to bother him, so he put her in an aluminum milk flask (5 Gallon) and put it on the balcony until her mother came home from work. When Sveta was 4 years, she stopped fitting in the flask. Her stepfather twisted her arms behind her back and pushed her in there. Her mother did not want to lose the chance for happiness and put the blame on the little girl, saying that she was not obedient and that she prevented her from living with her new husband. Sveta did not have toys and they never bought new things. Her stepfather was also beating her badly.

At 16, after graduating from school, she was told that there was no longer room for her in the house and she was put on the street. She worked illegally in an ice cream factory and studied. At the age of 18, she was taken to a restaurant as a waitress, and was betrayed again: the owner sold Sveta to a group of Caucasians who brutally raped her and then threw out into the street with a disfigured appearance and broken spine. God sent kind people who helped her survive all this.

She visited a church and tried to find help until the age of 23. But even the people in church saw in her an arrogant and proud woman, and not a small broken child in need of care and love. Soon she married a fellow student and for 11 years tried to build a relationship with him. She gave birth to two girls, became a pastry chef in one of the best restaurants in Omsk. She worked 17 hours a day trying to prove to everyone that she has the right to live and the love of her loved ones. But the delayed surgeries on her back stopped her crazy life rhythm, her legs refused move right at work and she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

We began to pray together; She was able to forgive her stepfather and mother. Sveta is now on my team of volunteers and serves children who suffer terrible pain due to their diagnosis like blood cancer. She also accepted Christ as her savior and is preparing for being baptized. God made a miracle, she was healed, her soul has been cleansed. Having gathered the elders of the church, we prayed for her physical healing!

Sveta is mother and wife, but she cannot live a full life! She can’t move her legs properly, and even when she walks it is very painful, she needs serious treatment.

I witnessed the sacrifices you have made, and many people have been helped through it. Sveta is a very modest girl and she will never ask for help for herself. This is why we need to unite and help her to return to a full and healthy life!

The church far north!

The church far north!

God has shown us mercy to be His preachers in the Yamal Peninsula. Being in God’s hands, we experienced many blessings. The initiator of this journey is, of course, our Savior, who said that His followers would be witnesses of the Good News to the ends of the earth.

Starting the trip with a prayer, we used the all-terrain vehicle “Tracola”, to drive a pre-planned route. We heard about difficulties in traveling for others and were surprised how the Lord helped them in those circumstances. But at the beginning of the road, we still did not know what obstacles we personally had ahead of us. But still we will value it, because of our experience of trusting in God, He has the solution to all problems!

Seeing the power and strength of our Lord through hard times strengthens our faith and it encourages us to continue on our way, visiting missionary families and groups of believers, as well as believers of the Nenets and non-believers living in tents. When preaching about Christ, we encourage some and also encourage ourselves.

Our path led us through the national villages in which there were churches. After more than 700 km (435 miles) we ended up in a village, in which a church exists and a family of missionaries lives with their five children. We were greeted with a lot of care, attention, and warmth, and enjoyed being with our friends.

How nice it is to be around people who have dedicated their lives to the altar of the service to God! Our hearts are especially pleased when, in these last times, we come in contact with simple Christian families who are living openly a sacrificial life in Christ.
