Famine in the Camps of Uganda

Famine in the Camps of Uganda

We are concerned about the impending famine in the refugee camps. The UN has reduced food rations for refugees due to insufficient funding. Now the UN is considering providing three kilograms of corn per person per month, and exclusively for vulnerable groups such as the disabled and elderly. This amount is enough for about 10 days!

We saw children in one of the schools crying because they had not eaten for at least a day or two. We asked one of our team members to support the school. We sent several team members to the nearest market to buy rice and beans, while others went to look for firewood in the forest. We asked the school administration and the church to look for kitchen utensils, and they quickly found them and started cooking.

The team was able to cook lunch in a short time, then feed the children, and everyone received food at the same time. The children and the school thanked our team for the support provided to the children. We thank God for the mobilization of resources and ask you to support our school meal program and teachers who work as volunteers. For just $30 a month, you can feed a child lunch every day! Thank you for your help!

Lebanon – a prayer for repentance

Lebanon – a prayer for repentance

Lebanon is located in the center of the Middle East. It borders Syria to the north and Israel to the south. There are still no economic or diplomatic relations between Israel and Lebanon. Since Biblical times, caravans of traders have stretched from south to north through Lebanon, reaching Galatia (modern Turkey). The main transport and trade routes from Egypt passed through Israel and Lebanon!

To reach the people of Lebanon with the Gospel, work continues among Syrians, Lebanese, and Palestinians. Evangelization is conducted among children and youth, in the form of children’s camps. Here, children are introduced to the truths of the Gospel for the first time! We thank God that parents let their children go to Christian camps! Many of them, tired of war and life in camps, are looking for a way out! Syrians, who fled the war, have been living in camps in Lebanon for over 10 years now! Their country is destroyed and they have no future in Lebanon either! Pray for an awakening in this nation! Events are also held among the adult population through musical projects. The Lord has opened doors for preaching in this country, and we are in great need of your support and prayers. Pray that the Lord will touch the hearts of those who listen in the upcoming services, granting repentance. May the Lord bless you.

Kazakhstan – the future of the church

Kazakhstan – the future of the church

These days, I am assisting with ministries on campuses and meeting with young people who have not yet heard the Gospel. A team from the Philippines came to visit our church and help with student outreach ministries. We took prayer walks around the universities in the central part of Almaty. During these prayer walks, we met students and invited them to an English language practice club. Through English clubs, we can build relationships with students. We have the opportunity to share the Good News and pray for them.

I would like to share a story about a student named Hasan, who started attending our English language club last year. He is originally from Syria and came to study at a medical university in Kazakhstan. Since I lived and served in the Middle East, I was able to practice Arabic with him and easily become friends. My brother from our team and I started spending time with him, getting to know him better. We shared about our faith in Jesus and offered to study the Scriptures together. That’s how we began meeting once a week to study the Word of God from the book of Genesis and discuss each chapter.

I thank God for the opportunity to preach the Gospel to students from different countries around the world!

Omsk – Graduates into Life!

Omsk – Graduates into Life!

Greetings to you, brothers and sisters! The ministry of mercy and care for children continues successfully. The number of children in need is increasing. When you see the need, you want to help everyone, comfort everyone, and heal everyone. We understand that we can pray for everyone, but can only help a few.

This month we visited three children’s homes and welcomed 17 graduates to the city. They are now students and have started living independently, and we have managed to build relationships with them. These young people now have a great chance to survive and become good people and Christians. We also visited a hospice 10 times and participated in the lives of many children, especially in the life of Apollon. His condition has improved, and we hope he will recover! A special need is for children in oncology. The department is overcrowded with children who need care, encouragement, and prayer.

Rita and Yaroslav are on hormones, and their condition is severe. They are looking for donors for a bone marrow transplant, and in the meantime, they need expensive medications and special nutrition. We try to participate in their lives prayerfully and financially. Every day, buying medicines and food costs up to 100 dollars. The family cannot afford this and needs help! Therefore, we ask you to pray and participate with us in the lives of these children! The children are very kind and want to live! Today, much depends on us. I want to express my gratitude to you for your participation in the lives and treatment of the children. Glory to Jesus for the honor of serving sick children and accompanying families on their difficult journey!

Lviv – the war continues

Lviv – the war continues

Today, our city came under drone attacks. No one could sleep. Drones flew over my daughter’s house, and the explosions were heard very close. People are in fear. We are powerless against drone attacks and cannot protect our children. Our only hope is in God! Your prayers are very much needed!

The war continues, and we continue our ministry. Many new people are coming from the east of Ukraine, where there are fierce battles. Russia is capturing new cities like Avdiivka, and new people come to us for help. I ask you to pray that we can not only provide them with shelter and food but also share the testimony of God with them. Many of them fled, leaving everything behind! They need God first and foremost and people who will show them love!

After consulting with the team, we are preparing to start construction on a bomb shelter. This is a very complex and responsible task. Please pray for this project. Through this work, we will ensure the safety of refugees living in our church building.

We have some joyful news as well. We have completed the renovation of the worship hall. We celebrated Harvest Day, and 175 people attended the gathering! This is a real miracle. We started organizing this church in 2016 with only three families. Now, 175 people come to our ministry. It is a blessing. It is joy! I am very glad that this ministry has your prayers and support. I praise God and thank you!

Please stay with us, pray for us, and support us if possible!

PNG – the weekdays of a missionary

PNG – the weekdays of a missionary

25 thousand steps, almost 17 kilometers of distance, 5 hours of sleep – a day in the life of a missionary in one screenshot. The claws of a rooster and rubbery stew made from pig intestines – the breakfast of a missionary that won’t be served in a restaurant. A pitch-dark night, everyone on duty, and you, the children, and two Papuan guards armed with bows and arrows at home: the electricity goes out and everyone together tries (in vain!) to start the old generator, keeping an eye out for armed bandits – but the missionary’s night is summed up in one sentence.

You try to prepare a lesson plan, but thousands of flying ants crawl over you, the walls, the ceiling, sleeping Miroslava, the Bible, and the lesson plan itself: there’s no salvation from them, you just have to endure it – the weekdays of a missionary. Morning/lunch/evening/night – at any time – please, do something, my mom is bleeding. My uncle is very ill. My neighbor fell from a tree. My grandfather is paralyzed. My daughter is convulsing. My child is “sick,” please, help.

And you drop everything, forget everything, and rush headlong into a race with death. Because maybe you’ll be able to save at least one more. Maybe another life will be gained for eternity. Maybe your sermon today will act like a penicillin shot. The life of a missionary is hidden in death. Dying – daily for oneself, we have the privilege of living His life!

Thank you for being with us!
