Recently, a father of a boy wrote me and began to simply to thank me for everything he felt and how badly he needed support 3 years ago. Back then we accompanied them to St Petersburg for a bone marrow transplant. When I read the message I cried and rejoiced, and clearly realized that it was the grace of God, and through us God was glorified. We have good news from Lera, she was taken back to her family. Her mother fulfilled the custody requirements. Even though not everything is over yet, but Lera really wanted to go to her mother, and now she is.
Our team also visited the orphanages to do some projects. We worked together with the boys, replaced sinks and toilets, and built a sandbox for the little ones, and in we have a bigger project, where we reconstruct a bath complex. The fact is that in this orphanage many graduates come for summer, for them it’s like their parent House. While we worked, I met Roma a little closer, he will soon be 6 years old and has no parents. Roma speech is impaired and intellectually not fully developed, but he is very nice and a sunny child. The director of the orphanage says that if he finds a speech therapist and the correct treatment, he will be able to go to school. So, they want to send him to a special disability boarding school. When I was teaching him things a Christian song started to play on the radio, and he began to sing along. I asked him: “Do you believe?” and he said: “Of course”, we even prayed together. Please pray for all our children.
Dear friends, we continue our ministry in the southern part of Bulgaria, in the town of Gotse Delchev. Among the Turkish diaspora, a church was planted among ethnic Turks. The building that we rent, cannot accommodate everyone who wants to attend the service.
Influenced by hostile minded neighbors, Christians are asked to vacate the room they rent. We really want to help them build a church and create conditions for holding services. Without this building, it will be very difficult to find a place to invite to the ministry of unbelievers! We laid the first stone for the Turkish community. We believe that this will be the beginning of the construction of the house of prayer. In this area of the southern parts of Bulgaria, where ethnic Turks live, are very few churches.
Dear brothers and sisters, we are asking to support them so that they are more successful preaching the gospel. The construction, according to preliminary calculations, will cost us about $95,000. Some brothers are ready to do the work themselves. Please help us with the construction and materials and keep us in prayer. God bless you.
I return in my mind to our trip to the island Norman Bay is just a few weeks ago. The water around this island is so stormy that a motorboat, on which we came just couldn’t dock to the shore. We spent 2 weeks there, and it was always raining. There is no electricity here, no stores, no roads, and the only first-aid station closed last year due to tribal war.
There are several churches and but the pastors of these “churches” smoke, drink, practice witchcraft and fight among themselves, they live cut off from the whole world and are in constant fear about evil spirits. We left this island since the time had come return to “Promise Land”, but my heart hurts about those people who stayed at the Norman Bay, without having hope for the future.
Yes, we spent a lot work there and thank God for tens (maybe even one hundred) of converters, but this is long not enough. For the first time in my life, our vision, “one more soul for Jesus ” seems so insignificant compared to the huge need here.
How many children live around us who are deprived of the opportunity to feel brightness and joy of a festive atmosphere? How can they see care and participation in their life? The first Saturday of summer, we, the Word of Truth Church team, installed sound equipment and other inventory in the yard apartment building. The children had the chance to play outside games and races, inflatable slide and trampoline, face art and songs with movements, of course – sweet prizes and treats for all participants.
The holiday was a success! Though and certain changes in society. People have become careful, and a lack of initiative. They also beware of large people clusters. Some parents, walking around with children, so and did not dare to join this celebration. After all, as it is written “Many are called, but few are chosen …” most of the children at the party were not from the home, on the site which the event took place, but from the nearest neighborhood.
By the grace of the Lord we have succeeded unite the church and find contacts and build relationships with local residents. Thank you everyone who prays and supports the ministry Church “Word of Truth” in Omsk! We are praying for you.
In 2019, a youth group from the United States held a children’s camp in Zambezi in the Evangelical Church. The church is in dire need of clear water because the water the people use in this area from the nearest stream is heavily polluted by industrial waste. The contaminated water causes the population to have many diseases, such as trachoma, diarrhea, and scabies. Everyone suffers from a lack of clean water, both children and adults.
In the densely populated area of Hama – many malaria mosquitoes that hatch in muddy swamps further complicate the situation of the local population’s lives. Some can afford to buy clean water, but the majority say they can only dream of clean water. The water is not suitable for cooking. The church prays for a water well, and we ask you to support us and help raise the required amount. One Christian organization agreed to drill a well and connect to the column for $4000. Thank you for your support!
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, thank you and praise the Lord for the Work He does here in Thailand.
Last month, by God’s grace we had an opportunity to have our children’s camp, which was such a big blessing and answered prayer! We had our older youth organize the program and have a chance to serve together. For some, it was the first time helping with children. Our topic was – focusing on God, seeing Him through creation, to listen what He says and does it, and talking to Him. God really blessed that time and children had many questions about faith and were not shy to ask. Please pray for these children as they continue coming to church and grow in their faith.
Brick by brick our Sunday school building is growing. As I wrote before, that two months ago because of strong rains, our bamboo shelter fell. The shelter was serving as a classroom for our Sunday and evening school for different ages and activities.
Thank God nobody got hurt, because it happened during the night, and only in the morning did we see this picture. Praise God for every donation, we were able to put the foundation, roof, purchase bricks, and windows for two small rooms that will serve as a storage room to keep all the school material and another for the office.
Thank God for His provision. We are planning to start evening school next month and are very grateful for the roof and strong foundation that we have, but we still need to buy bricks for the best part of the building – $450, put windows and doors – $600, put electricity with lights and fans – 400, and buy a few tables and chairs or mats to sit on the floor, One table $60, mat $7-10 We are very grateful for every donation and prayer, and if God will encourage you to participate in any of these needs, it will be a big blessing in reaching unreached with the Gospel and guiding them to grow in faith.
