Taking food to the market

Taking food to the market

A car is vital to our ministry. We praise the Lord that our ministry is expanding, but the car can no longer handle all the tasks with the assigned functions and tasks. Often you have to go to the city and transport not only people but also products food: cereals, butter, sugar.

We not only provide dairy products to our community, but we are happy to share with other communities. We also transport meat, milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, and eggs to their markets. Food products are in high demand, and we provide people high quality and healthy food, some from our own production. We also transport children twice a week to English classes, to a family of a missionary in the village which is over 31 miles away. We deliver clothes and groceries to neighboring villages. During winter our car had trouble driving around in snowy roads among forests and fields. Thanks to your help construction is underway to make improvements to our building – and therefore we often have to bring and Construction Materials.

That car which we have is small and weak and because of large loads, often began to break. And we, prayerfully we ask you to help us in purchasing another larger car, more spacious and able to carry a trailer. May the Lord bless you.

With gratitude prayer…

People are losing their sight

People are losing their sight

We visited the Yao Tribe in Malawi and held a children’s camp there. We found out that the population is suffering from a toxic water supply. This causes some of them to lose their eyesight, across all ages from young to old. In order to give them access to freshwater, we need to dig water wells. This project will cost around $8000. More updates are coming soon.

A year in quarantine!

A year in quarantine!

Mongolia has been under quarantine since February 2020. And in the last 2 months, we have been in high-level quarantine. It was supposed to end on January 6, 2021, but it is being extended again. People are desperate, they have no jobs and no opportunity to feed their families. Many are left without income and without coal for heating. And the winters in Mongolia are up to -40 Fahrenheit. Therefore, our main church “Golden Star” and three other campuses help the suffering people.

Through this ministry, we were able to reach 100 poor families. We understand that one-time help will not be enough. Therefore, we are planning to support each family with $25 per month from January to May 2021 for food and coal. By visiting and communicating with these families, we will become light and salt for them. We can bring the light of the Gospel to them. We select these families together with the district administration. Young families, who lost their jobs due to quarantine, and cannot receive social security from the state remained below the poverty line. Many cannot apply for help because they have a refrigerator or TV, which is considered a luxury.

Mongolia is very cold this winter. Large numbers of livestock are dying out and the price of meat has risen. And the use of firewood and coal has increased. The prices of foodstuffs also went up. We ask you to support our ministry during this difficult time for the Mongolian Church!

God’s Will Is Our “Food”

God’s Will Is Our “Food”

Our community received the opportunity to gather in more spacious building where it became possible to organize parallel services at the same time. Today, our prayer to the Lord is that He fills the new home with saved people.

To achieve this we made an effort and developed various ministries and referrals for evangelism. Brothers and sisters who and did not know about their talents, today jointly glorify God and inspire the community to sing praises to God!

Despite the restrictions, one young brother from church went to study to become a missionary

in Novosibirsk. We opened an office to provide assistance to people who find themselves in difficult life situations. Some of us worked as volunteers, transported food and medicine to homes with lonely, old people who were sick and in need.

This allowed us to make new contacts, chat and build relationships with people who didn’t know God. We continue in the same way pray for the insulation facade of the house of prayer winter cold. Warming will allow us significantly save finances on heating. Without your support, we would not all be able to maintain these projects and ministry. We are grateful for it. May God’s rich mercy bless you.

Left without food and shelter!

Left without food and shelter!

At the end of September 2020, another clash happened between the two parties in South Sudan. Residents of the camps in Corijo, Andejo, and Moroto, were attacked. The shooting lasted from 4 am to noon. About 3 thousand people were panicking and ran to the border of Uganda. Most of them were women, old people, and children. Many fled their houses without clothes and food to hide in the nearby forests. When they reached the border, the police did not want to let refugees into the country out of fear that they are carriers of Covid19.

The Ugandan government and the UN Commissioner for Refugees visited a new camp, but it did not seem they received any help. We sent a team to this district and they reported that children are crying from hunger, people don’t sleep at night because of the mosquitoes. We bought ten tons of food and other items and rushed to deliver it to the north of the country. It was accepted with great joy.

People were standing for hours to get beans, flour, and soap. Despite all hardships they experienced, they were singing songs praising God for the support. On behalf of all churches in the Baptist association in Mijale, I want to express a big thank you for the support. May the Lord bless you and reward your participation. With a prayer for all of you…

Our pastors are back!

Our pastors are back!

Over the past year, our students opened 11 new churches in Mozambique and Malawi has 9 new churches. We planned to gather students and continue to teach and through discipleship and caring for new believers. Despite limitations, the word of God is preached and many accepted Christ.

This is a joy not only for church planters but also for those who were saved through faith. We want to focus on discipleship. Those who have accepted Christ know very little scripture and by being uneducated the church is in danger of losing them. I personally visited all young pastors in the area and I’m very grateful to God for their courage and openness to preach the gospel from house to house.

Discipleship and Counseling training will help them not to spend not only more time in conversations, but and direct people to Jesus for the healing of their hearts. With monthly support of 100 dollars, each of them will able to rent a house for a family, rent premises for the church, and purchase food for their families. Within two years after planting a church we believe that it will self-sufficient and able to provide for their pastors! Glory to God for your participation in the foundation of new churches in Malawi and Mozambique!
