We celebrate Christmas

We celebrate Christmas

We thank the Lord and you for the great opportunity to serve together for the glory of God. By His grace, we prepared the Christmas holiday for the children in Omsk. Last year, 652 children attended the play, not counting their parents. They all heard the Gospel and received gifts. These are children from poor families, people with disabilities and just unbelieving children. We are also planning a trip to Khakassia for Christmas with teenagers in the Omsk Region. In 3 villages we have Christmas plays where up to 120 children attend. The cost of one gift costs $ 8.00. Thank you for everybody who participates in this project every year!

First meeting with disabled people

First meeting with disabled people

We organized the first meeting for people with disabilities, which was attended by about 30 people. We offered refreshments at the tables. A few shared their testimonies, how in Jesus Christ, they can worthily overcome all obstacles, even with a disability. We had visitors who heard the first time about Christ. They heard not only about the possibilities of “limited” people, but also about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

The other day, a sister approached me, who seemed to be far from the problems of people with disabilities. She shared her feelings about women who care for their disabled children but are often in hopeless despair. She offered to start praying for a ministry with them. This touched my heart deeply. Indeed, when building the House of Prayer, even at the design stage, we took into account all the necessary building requirements so that our new building would meet all conditions necessary and be convenient and accessible to any person who wants to be in fellowship with other Christians!

But today we are again in dire need. We want start using our new building. To do this, we need to insert the front door, insulate the ceiling and roof and purchase pipes and radiators for a total of $4900.

Thank you for your help, prayers and open hearts!

Sasha’s Health is improving

Sasha’s Health is improving

Dear friends, I welcome you! We all prayed and participated in the fate of Sasha Starovoitova, a child whom our friends adopted at the age of 6 months. Three months later they discovered that he has cancer in both eyes. The situation was critical. Doctors said that he has no longer than one year to live, and the best that was promised was the removal of both eyes.

Eugene, his adoptive father called me and told with tears the story that Rita his wife had already lost two children. And that they will not survive this. I reassured him as best I could, and we began to pray and seek a way out. God led step by step. He answered prayers!

In Moscow, they were welcomed by a Specialist clinic. You have helped with prayers and finances. The Doctors managed to save one eye and the tumor started to shrink.  Sasha is already two years old and will have an examination soon, and we pray that everything will be fine! God works miracles! Thank you, brothers and sisters!

Bethesda is in need!

Bethesda is in need!

Peace and grace to you, dear friends! In 2014, God blessed the church with 3 houses, in one of the villages in the Omsk region. Soon it was decided to use these houses as a ministry of mercy and create a shelter for the elderly, the disabled and those who have absolutely nowhere to go. Colossal work was done in the building: windows were inserted, floors were laid in some rooms, water was installed, and the heating system was repaired.

Despite all this, the buildings remain unfinished. Currently there are 26 people, 15 of them are between the ages 50 to 70 years, 8 of them have physical disabilities: amputation of limbs, partial loss of speech and coordination.

Many of those who stay here do not have any documents or formalized pensions, which means there is still a lot of work ahead.

The main problem of the building is the old and leaking roof, which flows from the ceiling along the walls – and that’s why we cannot do the interior decoration of the rooms.

To replace the roof, we need wood (board, timber, crossbars). Roof tiles and a drainage system are also needed. We also need volunteers and are ready to do it ourselves. For all this we need to raise about $4000.

We pray to the Lord for the sacrificial, caring, and heart-giving partners in the work of the Lord.

Dashas condition is serious but stable!

Dashas condition is serious but stable!

There are people who are watching our ministry and are inspired by the mercy and their hearts are changing.

I want to convey greetings from Anastasia and Dasha, they are now in a clinic in St. Petersburg. Dasha had an operation on her head and a drainage was installed so that the fluid would come out, her condition is bad but stable at the moment. Dasha’s vision has fallen, and doctors are preparing her for a bone marrow transplant. Everything will depend on how the body copes with the load.

Her mother eagerly communicates with me, since she heard about God from me she is asking a lot of questions.

When I accompanied them to St. Petersburg we talked a lot, I gave her some financial support, and she cried and did not want to get out of the car. She says that she never has been treated that good. Brothers and sisters, these are words we live for. We also continue to care and pray for them. Thank you so much for your participation. Our ministry in Omsk continues to gain momentum and every week we visit children with leukemia and now we collect “boxes of courage” – these are toys that give children a consolation prize after painful procedures.

I am very grateful for your continues support. May God bless you!

Dasha is on the way to St. Petersburg!

Dasha is on the way to St. Petersburg!

The Lord pays special attention to widows and orphans. I already wrote about Anastasia and her daughter Dasha, and we have already done a lot for their health and life. Anastasia is grateful and wants to share some good news.

Dasha has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and there were complications on the brain, she slowly began to die. Then she was operated several times and now the situation has stabilized, and she is stable enough for a trip to St. Petersburg, to a hospital specializing in bone marrow transplantation.

The Tickets were purchased for August 27th. When possible, we will accompany them in St. Petersburg, Anastasia is raising a child alone and there is no one to help her. I contacted my brothers in St. Petersburg to help them more effectively. This is not the first child who is going from Omsk to St. Petersburg to undergo a complicated operation and we already have experience with this.

God made a miracle, and Dasha was able to advance in healing, but she is still at the beginning of the journey and really needs our prayers and financial help. I especially ask you to pray for her mother, the pain she is experiencing is impossible to convey in words.

Any mother in her situation live from day to day, and they are very afraid to do something wrong, because there may be not be a chance to fix it. Thank you for participating in this ministry. For me, being with these families has become a part of my life.

I thank God for His mercy!
