Vietnam – Baptism by Faith!

Vietnam – Baptism by Faith!

Beloved friends, brothers, and sisters, may grace and peace multiply to you! I am eager to share wonderful news with you about the work of the Lord in Vietnam. About five years ago, while exploring the area and searching for an opportunity to serve someone, the Lord allowed us to encounter a poor family (they had no electricity, their water came from a nearby leaking stream, and their house was like a barn). They belong to the Raglai ethnic minority and live 50 kilometers away from us. They welcomed us, and we prayed for them. Then we sang songs, spoke about Christ, and became friends. We gave them the Word of God, but not all of them could read. We regularly bring them assistance (food, clothing, medicine). We couldn’t visit them for about a year due to the quarantine measures. When we finally had the chance to visit them again, their home had transformed. They themselves had changed, and when we asked them what to pray for, they said, “Peace and love in the family.” It was a breakthrough for us; they accepted Christ.

And so, before the Easter holiday, we offered them the opportunity to enter into a covenant with the Lord through water baptism. This year, it was very hot and there was a drought. The stream near their home had dried up. We found water, arrived at 6 AM, and celebrated in the glory of God. We blessed them and partook in communion.

A few days later, we visited them again, and they showed us that they had started digging a well. We could see it was already about 3-4 meters deep. They asked us to pray for help from the Lord. After a few days, we purchased reinforced concrete rings for them. Currently, we are looking for ways to provide them with a pump, a reservoir, and pipes for water supply to their house.

Precious friends, brothers, and sisters, we are overjoyed to serve Jesus Christ together with you. May the Lord abundantly bless you.

Vietnam – Grandparents!

Vietnam – Grandparents!

Five years ago we arrived in Vietnam and met the grandparents who are raising their four abandoned grandchildren. We remember how God touched our hearts when we learned that they earn their living by collecting cardboard and tin cans for food, housing, and upbringing. We shared this story with you, and you responded by helping this family with a monthly food basket, clothing, stationery, medicine. Every time we visit them, we bring God’s Word, preach it, study it, run children’s programs, and teach English through Bible stories. And recently, entering a Vietnamese evangelical church, I saw our girls singing in the children’s choir of our Lord, I was so happy that I cried, understanding that God is working in these souls. After the church service, we went to visit this family. Grandfather, seeing us, cried with joy. As always, we brought them food and other gifts!

Glory to God, we have many such families, in one family, in the Raglai tribe (national minorities), one sister is preparing for the holy water baptism. More than three years ago we entered the house (barn) of this family, there was no light, gas, water in the stream. Today they have a decent house. It’s very clear where God’s children are taken in, there everything flourishes. Glory to God! Beloved with all your heart and soul, we thank you for your contribution. We are happy to serve with you.

Vietnam – a story of Ministry

Vietnam – a story of Ministry

Precious friends, brothers and sisters. Again we move from community to community, talking about the wondrous deeds of God, calling for a mission and looking for co-workers in the cause of God. This time we drove 2500 miles and visited the churches of Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tyumen, Ufa. In Novosibirsk, three young guys (25-30 years old) began to pray that they would go on a short-term mission. We support in prayer, their names are Andrey, Tatiana and Oidin.

In the capital of Bashkortostan – Ufa, the Lord gave us two men, with whom we spent two days talking about the mission in Southeast Asia. It was evident that the brothers were on fire, and they were very interested in our ministry.

In some places, the Lord touched the people in a special way, from how other peoples live, having no electricity, water, gas and other means to which we are accustomed today. Some have even repented from the murmuring that arises in their lives. Decided not to wait, we went to rehabilitation centers and told about the Lord and His miraculous deeds, recalled that once we were in bondage to sin, but the Lord had mercy, granting us freedom.

I took my brother with me on the trip, who was visiting us in Vietnam. He participated in the ministry. He came here to be on vacation with his wife, but and instead of vacation, he worked for the Lord for two weeks, and when leaving he and his wife flew on the wings of God’s love.

Thank God, today their relationship is restored. Support Gennady and Olya in prayer. Thank you for your never ending prayers!

Vietnam – Spread the Gospel

Vietnam – Spread the Gospel

Dear friends, brothers and sisters! I thank the Lord for answering our prayers, because by revealing our desires and dreams before the Lord, He fulfills them according to His will. With the blessing of the church and my wife, I went on a two-month missionary trip to Vietnam.

I haven’t been here for a whole year for a number of reasons. Everything has changed and is changing daily. But the Lord blesses His children, and He does it abundantly. On Sunday my my brother in Christ, Shonny and I traveled to a remote province, he is my translator, where the Raglai tribe lives. With the help of the local church, we preached and distributed snacks to children (about 300 children). Then we visited especially 10 poor families and distributed food, told the Gospel, sang and prayed for the sick. Thank God.

The tribe lives very poorly, they cook on a fire, take water from a stream, not everywhere is is electricity. When we visited the families in which we have been serving for 4 years, we had wonderful and joyful meetings of love.

We thank the Lord for your blessings and participation in the work of the gospel. May the Lord open His good treasury to bless all the works of your hands!

Vietnam – team selection!

Vietnam – team selection!

When preaching in Russia about the wonderful deeds God does in Southeast Asia, God gives us different people to meet. I dream to do this work, the Lord prompts his people to teach the gospel and someone will respond and even join our team. God answered our prayers and desires, three families want to go on a short-term mission to Vietnam.

We recently attended a meeting called “Baza-2021”, were also received equipment and tools for an effective ministry. Many brothers came from different cities and countries to talk about their vision and experience. At the same place in Moscow, I talked with a brother in charge of the foreign mission, and he offered me to study at a missionary school. “During the pandemic brothers and sisters came from North Korea, Indonesia, and China to Russia, and it will be good if you take part in the training. They have been studying for a year, and I think we will accept you if you don’t mind.”

I replied that we are waiting for the opening borders, and as soon as they are opened, I will go to Vietnam, to which he replied: “It’s okay to study while waiting”. Now I’m flying to the Caucasus, for a session. Thank you for your prayers for us, for your hearts full of God’s love. I am thanking God for you.

Meetings with churches in Russia

Meetings with churches in Russia

Peace be with you, dear friends! Like we reported earlier, we had to fly to Russia to be examined and find a treatment for Irina, as well as to visit the brothers and sisters and tell about miracles God is doing in Vietnam. We visited churches from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg, encouraging people of God to evangelize. I also was looking for workers for our team. To this day already drove 4350 miles, and we will stay for a month in Omsk visiting the churches, where our ministry began.

We met with Liza, who was baptized in Vietnam and which for health reasons came back to Russia. She graduating from missionary school and prays for being part of a ministry. She has a gift to evangelize and leads people to God. Ulan-Ude is where Liza lives, this is the center of Buddhism and Shamanism. Her mother didn’t want to hear about Christ, but literally right before we arrived her daughter’s testimony moved her and she repented and accepted Christ in her life. This is the fruit of our joint work with New Fields. We see that people are interested in stories about what God has done in different countries, but, unfortunately, the interest to go and help in person is low.

Irina is being examined today. We pray that we can find the causes of the sickness and the correct treatment. Thank you from our hearts and souls for your work, which you do for the sake of the Gospel. Your prayers and timely help are very valuable to us.
