PNG – The Joy of meeting

PNG – The Joy of meeting

Eugene and two ardent brothers, whom the Lord put on their hearts to spend these 5 weeks in ministry at the ends of the earth, are preparing to leave for Papua New Guinea! Pray for them, they all have families, children who have remained on prayer support here in the States, while the ministers will carry His Word to the ends of the earth.

Eugene plans to camp and encourage all of our (five) churches, trips to remote villages – They won’t be bored, that’s for sure. Please support those brave men in prayer. Also, we hope, we will be able to extend our volunteer visas in order to return to Papua New Guinea again soon.

Pray for a speedy resolution of this issue as well. I’m in the states now, sitting on an easy chair with a mug of steaming black coffee. It doesn’t matter if I have a microphone in my hand, a pencil or a cutting board. If my heart is right before God, it is equally important to Him.

Therefore, breathing in the aroma of American coffee, I pray for Eugene, who will be at home on “Promise Land” this Sunday.

South Sudan – God Moves People

“He who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, by the revelation of the mystery, about which from time immemorial it has been silent, but which is now revealed, and through the prophetic writings, by the command of the eternal God, proclaimed to all peoples to conquer their faith. To the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, glory forever. Amen”. – Ephesians 3:20-21

It is in these places of Scripture, we, as the first generation of Baptists in South Sudan, have rooted and prayed to reach all the farthest corners of South Sudan and other sub-Saharan countries. The photographs you see are testament to the fulfillment of the commission of Jesus Christ and the preaching of the gospel to the lost in the refugee camps in northern Uganda. As part of this mission, a total of 76 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ, and they are now taking discipleship classes. Pray that God strengthened and grew them in their faith. Glory to God. We pray that God will continue to equip leaders so they can help all the lost in South Sudan.

Vietnam – a story of Ministry

Vietnam – a story of Ministry

Precious friends, brothers and sisters. Again we move from community to community, talking about the wondrous deeds of God, calling for a mission and looking for co-workers in the cause of God. This time we drove 2500 miles and visited the churches of Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tyumen, Ufa. In Novosibirsk, three young guys (25-30 years old) began to pray that they would go on a short-term mission. We support in prayer, their names are Andrey, Tatiana and Oidin.

In the capital of Bashkortostan – Ufa, the Lord gave us two men, with whom we spent two days talking about the mission in Southeast Asia. It was evident that the brothers were on fire, and they were very interested in our ministry.

In some places, the Lord touched the people in a special way, from how other peoples live, having no electricity, water, gas and other means to which we are accustomed today. Some have even repented from the murmuring that arises in their lives. Decided not to wait, we went to rehabilitation centers and told about the Lord and His miraculous deeds, recalled that once we were in bondage to sin, but the Lord had mercy, granting us freedom.

I took my brother with me on the trip, who was visiting us in Vietnam. He participated in the ministry. He came here to be on vacation with his wife, but and instead of vacation, he worked for the Lord for two weeks, and when leaving he and his wife flew on the wings of God’s love.

Thank God, today their relationship is restored. Support Gennady and Olya in prayer. Thank you for your never ending prayers!

Life conquers death!

Life conquers death!

This is a tragedy that the devil has created in Ukraine. This is spiritual warfare. But the blows of Jesus are stronger than the blows of Satan. When I preached this week, we saw a record number of repentances. In just one service, about 15 refugees believed in Jesus! I heard prayers. I saw tears. I see how life conquers death. This is the victory of Jesus Christ. This is our victory! Tell about it in church!

Rejoice and praise God! Also, please pray for us and the new believers. We are preparing for baptism, time flies very quickly. I find it hard to believe that we have been helping refugees for six months now. We have hosted and helped over 3,500 people. Our church has prepared and distributed over 43,000 meals. 70 refugees permanently live in the church. More than 100 people completed the training and process of rehabilitation. More than 3,000 people heard the gospel. We have witnessed a huge number of repentances. More than 300 people prayed the prayer of repentance alone with me. This is a miracle that God does. This is the awakening of Ukraine and a unique opportunity for our church to bevat the epicenter of this miracle. I am very grateful to you for your participation in the ministry of disciples in Lvov. We did it together!

Healing broken hearts

Healing broken hearts

For many years, we have been counseling families, helping to resolve relationship problems that they faced. Everyone who sincerely sought a way out of the current situation received freedom from God. The Lord richly blessed us and gave us a vision to expand the ministry of counseling and helping those in need.

While we lived in Kansas City, we always had a dream to have our own building. In 11 years, we have paid over $150,000 in office rent. In May 2022, the mission board approved the purchase of land in South Carolina and the construction of a mission center. Here we will continue to help families, prepare new ministers, conduct seminars and practical trainings. Thanks to everyone who in these difficult times of general bewilderment and “anticipation of disasters” helps us heal broken hearts.

Although we do not have enough finances for the construction, we believe that the Lord will dispose your hearts to participate in this work. If everyone who receives this letter donates $250-300 to this project, we will have enough funds to complete the mission center. We pray and thank you for your support of New Fields Ministries.

Thailand – Learning to help

Thailand – Learning to help

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, thank you very much for the thoughtfulness and care that you are showing through personal messages, prayers, and support. One of the main goals of our local church here is that we would know the Bible and would be able to provide any help to any person who is searching for it, physically and spiritually. We were looking for someone who can teach us and our youth how to help people with any issue they face with the Living Word of God. And God blessed us by sending on our way “Apollos” a dear brother in Christ and his team who do Biblical counseling ministry in Thailand and moreover lives a few hours from our place, that we didn’t even know about before!

A few weeks later we were able to host a seminar on addiction, where we learned, what the Bible says about it, and how can we help people with any kind of addiction. At the beginning of the next year, we are planning on taking the whole one-year course on Biblical counseling with our youth, so they would be able to help their friends, family members, and children that they serve. Please pray for this desire of 9 young people who would like to dedicate their time and effort to learn how to help people by guiding them with the Word of God! Please pray for the young man Poo, who is willing to get baptized in a few months, and for God to use him in reaching his family.

May God richly bless you
