Minusinsk – House for orphanages!

Minusinsk – House for orphanages!

The life of children in the orphanage is scheduled to the second. They grow up withdrawn and don’t trust anybody. Igor, barely remembers his own parents, because since he is three years old he lived in a correctional orphanage in Krasnoyarsk. Since he stood out from other kids with autism and Down syndrome, he was transferred to the Minusinsk children’s House six months ago. He is 11 years old, but he acts like a little five year old child. He smiles a lot and needs love and special care.

Yegor is 13 years old. He lived with his biological family, but his parents abused and beat him and fought between each other a lot. Six months ago, in front of the boy’s eyes his mother killed his father. She was sent to prison, and Yegor was sent to an orphanage. Despite what happened, the boy remains kind and sociable, but very afraid to go to a foster family. He says that in the orphanage is much better. If his loved ones did this, why wouldn’t others do that either. His need to re-learn to trust and feel someone’s love

In the near future we want invite children to us in the “Children’s Ark” and organize events outside. We need a portable audio equipment. Moreover, to organize children’s leisure, our team needs sport equipment: game tables (football, bowling, hockey), bicycles and balls. During winter we need ice skates, since we are planning build a frame for a rink. We will be grateful for your support our great common ministry. God bless you!

Trakol for Kamchatka!

Trakol for Kamchatka!

In the north of Kamchatka there is village called Palana and is in the center of the Koryak district. In the year 2000 the family of Gennady and Galina Mozhaytsev with their four young children from Belgorod came to this village. They settled in a cramped two-room apartment. Due to the lack of vitamins the children fell ill with tuberculosis. The fifth child was born in Kamchatka, and the family adopted three more orphans. Galina recalls how in one night somebody knocked on the door, he seemed possessed and had a knife, promised to kill the whole family, but the Lord saved them. When the children got up started praying and singing, the possessed left.

The sacrifice that family did was not in vain. In 20 years of evangelism to the indigenous peoples in Palana a church formed: 18 people were baptized, now we have 32 born again Christians with 8 young families. Residents of many villages expect believers to visit them, but in May the ice melts and movement on winter road ends. Transportation is only possible by helicopters, which is very expensive. Palana is cut off by swamps for 9.5 months. There is only one opportunity to preach the gospel all year round if you buy the Trakol all-terrain vehicle: it is excellent in the swamps and in the snow moves with 8 passengers. It floats and is equipped with an engine from Volvo. Our brothers in the tundra have been using Trakol for 20 years. Its the only one on the market in Russia that is fitted for the north and off-road transportation. We visited the manufacturer. We need to collect $ 70,000 for this project. We believe that this is God’s work and ask all of you for help!

War In Papua New Guinea

War In Papua New Guinea

A war broke out between tribes Agarabi and Tappu in our area over land rights disputes. Everywhere you can see armed soldiers, spears, axes and angry people. Grenades are exploding and burn whole villages. Matthew and Miroslava go straight through the epicenter of the war to school, and when they come back they tell stories from which I feel sick. “How was it in school? ” – I asked my son – “Mom, you won’t believe it! I saw a person who had a spear stuck in his stomach! It was just before a grenade exploded and everyone fell to the ground.” Please pray for the soonest ending the war.

This month, we had opportunity to open a new church in Tompetaka. To reach this place a two hours climb is needed. The Kasup tribe known the fact that some time ago they killed and ate two missionaries who came preach the gospel to them. And they cut rubber boots into pieces and given to others villages and neighbors. The Kasup tribe repented publicly during our ministry with them. Thank God, He does His work in hearts of people!

Please rejoice with us!

Please rejoice with us!

Yes, I believe!!! This is a short but very meaningful and powerful phrase! “Yes, I believe!” – To say it in front of other witnesses is a big challenge. “Yes, I believe and have decided to follow Jesus and want people around me to know about it”. Four young people made a public confession of their faith and got baptized. It was a true celebration in our Church. Most of them were growing without having a close relationship with their parents, not knowing the love of Jesus. One of the boys said: Growing up without a father and later with a step-father I felt a lack of love.  When I saw how my cousin came to Crist and how his life changed, I wanted the same. Now I have the Heavenly Father who loves me and cares for me every day. God is the only one who is the best Father and gives us a new family in Christ!  Moreover, He showers His blessings and gives gifts that we would be able to serve each other. Every week our older children teach younger to play musical instruments. We are very grateful for our volunteers who came a few years ago and taught our children to play piano, guitar ukulele, and now they can pass it to the next generation. Also this year the teachers from the public school said that children and teens who go to church, are very talented and kind, they were the most helpful in the preparation graduation program this year. Glory be to God for all the things He is doing. Please continue to pray for our youth, especially those who decided to follow Jesus, that nothing will stop them and also younger children, that they would grow in their faith. Please pray for the right people to join our ministry, especially for the young couple who are planning to come in June.

Its been one year since we started a Bible study group with the elderly. As we study the Bible together, we see how relevant and practical it is for our life, doesn’t matter culture or age. They are very grateful for the time we have. “ I really like the time when we pray together, I feel the power and see how God is answering prayers”  – said one of the ladies.

Thank you very much for your prayers and support, thank you for being a part of the ministry here.

Meetings with churches in Russia

Meetings with churches in Russia

Peace be with you, dear friends! Like we reported earlier, we had to fly to Russia to be examined and find a treatment for Irina, as well as to visit the brothers and sisters and tell about miracles God is doing in Vietnam. We visited churches from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg, encouraging people of God to evangelize. I also was looking for workers for our team. To this day already drove 4350 miles, and we will stay for a month in Omsk visiting the churches, where our ministry began.

We met with Liza, who was baptized in Vietnam and which for health reasons came back to Russia. She graduating from missionary school and prays for being part of a ministry. She has a gift to evangelize and leads people to God. Ulan-Ude is where Liza lives, this is the center of Buddhism and Shamanism. Her mother didn’t want to hear about Christ, but literally right before we arrived her daughter’s testimony moved her and she repented and accepted Christ in her life. This is the fruit of our joint work with New Fields. We see that people are interested in stories about what God has done in different countries, but, unfortunately, the interest to go and help in person is low.

Irina is being examined today. We pray that we can find the causes of the sickness and the correct treatment. Thank you from our hearts and souls for your work, which you do for the sake of the Gospel. Your prayers and timely help are very valuable to us.
