We have been participating in life of children who are admitted to a pediatric Oncology, a hospice and four orphanages. The more we are open and help people, the more they are willing share their pain with us. I want to say thank you from every child and from me, for your kindness, prayers, and help! I wrote about Matthew who needs urgent surgery. We sent him to St Peter and we are waiting for news.
We have now there are especially worried for Lera. This is our oncology girl which we have been helping for two years now. Her mother Masha is a teacher at the orphanage home that we visit. After returning from St. Petersburg, I took them home to Artyn. After one week the child protective services took custody of them because of poor living conditions and Masha started drinking. Lera is now in the orphanage home, and we are trying to resolve the issue with the administration and help Masha with her obligations. She fought for two years for Lera but now can’t handle it anymore. When Lera saw me, she sat on my lap and cried, saying that wants to go home to mom. Her condition has worsened due to the stress. She needs to be taken for treatment, and this is 120 miles away from the orphanage. Lera prays and believes that a miracle will happen. Although she’s only 8 years old, she is reasoning like an adult.
Also, Yaroslava is also in a very bad condition, she is 7 years old and we know her for over three years, she has leukemia in a very severe form, it has paralyzed her head and face. Her mother asks us for help. They will need to fly to St. Petersburg for a bone marrow transplant. Every child knows that God helps them through other people. Thank you for that and God bless.
In the pictures you see the distribution of food to the Palush and Melut camps in Malakal, South Sudan. The situation in the country is very difficult – hunger is everywhere. Pray for the safety of all teams and the success of the distribution, since the flood and instability in areas of the Upper Nile state there is a shortage of food. The food was given out at end of March to the Anakdiar churches in Malakal. In other areas of Malakala we try to do the same and deliver food to local churches. In all camps, people lined up to get food for their families.
Thank you for the timely help and prayers for our long-suffering
people.
People who are worshiping spirits don’t look happy, they live in constant fear to please spirits, and they put a lot of effort into this. They pass their belief to their children and grandchildren, who continue to live by the same pattern. What if, one generation would turn to Christ? They will have hope, joy, their life would be better, their families would be stronger, and their children and grandchildren will know and live for an all-powerful, loving, and wise God. Only one generation will put their trust in Jesus and teach the next generation to do the same. This is our prayer and vision: to reach, disciple, prepare for ministry one generation of faithful followers of Christ and together to reach the next generation.
Yes, it takes time, a lot of time, and effort, but the goal is worth it. We really appreciate you for being coworkers in this ministry, thank you for your prayers that mean a lot, children and youth who are here- the first generation who came to Christ, they might not have anyone else praying for them. Thank you for your financial support, that means a lot because most of our church members are children and youth, who don’t have a big income, but also do their part. Together we can reach, strengthen in faith and prepare for the ministry one generation for Christ and the next generation with them.
“I see, how God changed my life, how He cares for me,
provides for me. I want to teach younger children about God that their lives
will be changed”
“I am glad to teach younger children to play guitar
that they will join our worship team”
“This New Year we went to visit my family in another
village, when I saw little children, I really wanted to tell them about God, I
don’t know many Bible stories, so I told them the one I knew, they were so
happy to hear. I want to learn how to share about God”
“P’Gick, when will we learn from the Bible?” – was the
question of two young boys, who come so early right after school and looking
for their leader to learn. Together with other girls and boys they will have
some short activity of cooking or making any craft, read the Bible and share
what they understand. This practice is not easy for many people in this culture
where they are taught to learn and accept things, not to express their own
thinking. But the Word of God is practical for every age. When this group just
started last year, these ten to thirteen-year-old children couldn’t pray and
now everyone prays out loud. Now most of them want to play musical instruments
and join worship group. Thank God for such growth.
“I want to get baptized!” -said one of the girls during our church lunch and all her friends turned with amazement in their eyes. “Do you think you are perfect in your faith?” – asked one of the girls, “No, I am still growing and learning but I want to make a decision to follow Christ”
All these children and youth come from strong Buddhist and animist families, please pray for them, that they would grow in their faith. The next few months would be a season for camps. We are planning to have three camps for Christian and non-Christian youth and children this year. Please pray for every participant and leader. Also, one young lady and one family would like to join our ministry this year, please pray that the doors will be opened, and all the documentation process will go smoothly.
Thank you so much for that always help and support us. We successfully delivered food. We provided food packages to 346 families in Ulan Bator and in the provinces. Each family was given food and with them, we also gave them the Gospel.
We put a Gospel and a book about changed life through Christ in the Grocery bags. As a result of this ministry, 11 families visited our Sunday Service. We care for them through home gatherings and pray that Lord touches more people. We are planning more ministries like these. Please pray for the success of this Ministry. May the Lord be with you and will reward you.
Returning home to Kazakhstan, I continued to learn Arabic online.
Lord guides me to keep serving among Muslims in Egypt. My friends, who came to organize
camps with a team to Jordan, are serving in Cairo. They offered to come and join
their team. I prayed long and received an answer that I we must continue to
serve in the Middle East or North Africa. A lot of people don’t know the truth
yet.
Despite my not easy experience and difficulties in Jordan, I want to do the will of God. My experience in serving among refugees will be useful in the future. God is good and keeps his promises. I believe that God is on my side and in any situation He will be there. I plan learn to Arabic in Egypt, then pass training and then will be serving the local population throughout the year. My friends from Kyrgyzstan and the USA also want to join this ministry. Whenever God has a plan for me, I gladly follow. I have several prayer needs:
– My spiritual and moral preparation for travel and ministry
in Egypt.
– Finalizing documents and getting a visa
– For my friends from Kyrgyzstan and the United States to join
the ministry
– For protection for me and the team
– Financial support for accommodation in Cairo
Thank you for participation in my life! May the Lord bless
you and your families.
Past ministries in Asia remind us of early spring. Although the
Turkish authorities took a tougher position with the Islamization of the
population countries and demonstrated their constant course in this direction, resorting
to an extraordinary act in Istanbul, they turned the church St. Sophia into a
functioning mosque.
Authorities deported Christian ministers from the country and without any explanations and are denied entry to Christians who work in Turkey. For example, a sister is married for more than 15 years and lives with her husband and child currently cannot extend her residence permit, and questions are raised about her deportation from the country. The interest of the Turkish population to become Christian does not decrease, especially among young people.
One of the students told me he was convinced Muslim, but then a miracle happened and he is now a child of the Lord! The city Gotse Delchev, which is in the southern part of Bulgaria is mostly inhabited by ethnic Turks. The Lord visited these people and in recent years more and more people turned to the Lord. Today they already have a church which is visited by a lot of young people. A house that is rented Sunday services, does not fit them all. Together we raised funds and bought a piece of land now pray that the Lord will send funds for the construction of the building. It has become obvious that the power of the divine fire flares up among the population of this region. We would be glad for any support in this ministry and in these countries!
