Grace and peace to you, our friends, brothers and sisters. I
will tell you the story of the family, so that you support in prayers about the
trials they had in their life.
Kam (Vietnamese) is 28 years old, in February 2019 he moved
with his wife, Zhenya (Russian) to his historical homeland from Russia.
When he was 6 years old, his parents moved to live in Russia, they divorced later, and Kam ended up in a Christian orphanage with a family of believers, where he met Jesus Christ, and later married Zhenya. They actively served in the church in Russia.
After moving to Vietnam some adjustments had to be made to their lives and they began to adapt to it. Kam got a job in a jewelry company to sell gold, his earnings were decent, Zhenya worked as a hairdresser and this completely covered their needs. When she became pregnant, she invited her mother from Russia to help them, since she had to give birth soon. All these everyday zealously tasks kept them from going to church; they went there rarely, once or twice a month.
In February 2020, the desired and long-awaited, Dana, was born. Then the pandemic came into the world, Kam was fired from his job selling gold, since most of the sales came from tourists.
Now they always come church, thanks to what has happened to them, their thirst for fellowship is visible now, and set the right priorities in relation with the Lord. They ask that the fire of God’s love burn in their lives, so that they would not be warm, but only burn for God, because He had done so much for them.
We thank the Lord for you, may God Almighty bless us all in all circumstances of life.
Henderson Kautsi was born on 02.25.1990 in Ntcheu County, Malawi. He is a university graduate with a degree in Logistics and Supply Management. He is currently attending a theological school, married to Tendai, and blessed with one daughter, Raina. Henderson is a born again Christian and blessed with the gift of an evangelist.
After a three-month training from January to March 2020. Henderson began his ministry in the village of Natenye in the vicinity of Lilongwe. People here are very poor, live from agriculture, which gives them barely enough food. He began to work with the Cheva and Gulevankulu tribes. There were no believers in this village, but I am pleased to inform you that God led more than 20 people to salvation, through our brother, within three weeks. Even the leader accepted Jesus Christ.
Among those who came to God, there were 4 members of Gulevankulu. This is a tradition in Cheva associated with witchcraft and immoral behavior: they have a dirty speech, beat and enchant people.
Despite the coronavirus, God and his children do a great job. And all this is possible thanks to your support. Since January 2020, our pastoral school, as you can see, has been working effectively!
Quinilla is three and a half years old and is was always smiling, talkative, and even when she became ill with typhus, it did not completely wash the smile off her face. She knows the words of all the songs that we sing, and during worship in the church, she holds her hands high, looking up to heaven. If you are listening late in the evening, then you can catch her tender voice singing: “There is power in the name of Jesus, to break every chain …”
Three is not only her age but also the number of times her mother tried to abort her – but each time she survived. I saw this smiling miracle when she turned 5 months old, and soon her whole family began to attend our meetings. Now her parents are expecting another child, this time is a wish. It has been 3 months since Quinilla has been attending our Christian kindergarten. It was here that she learned her songs, and learned that God has a plan for her life. More than a hundred children, between 3 to 5 years old, visit our nursery. Behind each smile is an untold story, behind every look there is a hidden pain. We do not charge students; our desire is that as many children as possible come – and that they find out that there is a Father in heaven who loves them and never leaves them.
Out of four classrooms, only two are ready to use, which means we could double the nursery once we fix them up. To do this we need to lay the floor and insert the windows in the two remaining classes, as well as plywood the walls. Please consider supporting us, thank you.
Ministry in Papua New Guinea – Eugene & Ira Konstantinik
I want to thank you for participating in the ministry of sick children, their mothers, widows, and orphans. Because of the pandemic, three families are locked in St. Petersburg and cannot leave to Omsk. Their children are diagnosed with leukemia and underwent a bone marrow surgery. We cannot visit them, but we support them in prayers and with gifts.
In Omsk, we continue to take care of Savely. He has a very unusual problem, he cannot walk, since he was born without kneecaps. His mother has two more sons but no husband.
A 12-year-old child weighs more than sixty kilograms (132lb). She can’t lift him and generally is rarely at home since she is working from morning til late at night. After talking with Savely, I realized that the child not only cannot move independently but also has speech problems, he cannot learn and is gradually degrading. We have known each other for four months now, and Savely was a blessing to us. He always smiles, waits, and writes. If I don’t come, he is not able to go outside. He has nothing to eat and wears clothes that are not for the right season and is alone.
His birthday was on April 15th. We bought him a computer; this is the only opportunity for him to study remotely. I installed him a Bible and various courses to learn the Russian language, mathematics, and history. We also brought him food because we know that their refrigerator was empty.
Please Praise God that there are good people like you that pray and support us!
Around the world, there is panic. People are in fear, and not only unbelievers. The panic is among Christians too. This leads people to “go underground”, wait and sit it out. They fill their bins, refrigerators, and wait. And around them is chaos. People are sick, physically, and spiritually. How can one not get infected?
And then I remember the words of Christ: I came to the sick, and not to the healthy. To people who live in need. Our Church decided to follow the example of Christ. Equipped with protective outfits, we purchased food and went to families with one or more disabled children. These people are limited in normal times, and it’s so much harder for them during self-isolation.
You should have seen how much joy was in the eyes of mothers, some even were in tears. Not so much from the gifts but from the simple attention.
Here is what some of them said: “Thank you for taking care of us, you are people with such a good heart” “We have no words, I’m tearing up, so nice of you to bring us so much.”
We pray that the love of Christ that we are showing them will change their hearts for the gospel.
The temperature ranged from 46 to 50 Fahrenheit, constant rains and moisture piercing to the bones leading to exhaustion. The biggest problem for us was where to stay warm. We are used to living in a different climate! Our music missionary group met local Arabs who were very friendly. Services were held day and night – many people listened to musical performances and sermons about Jesus Christ and His salvation.
In Jordan, there are many refugees from neighboring countries – Syrians and Iraqis. And many of them are very interested in listening to the word of God. One day, late in the evening, when we were already preparing for bed, an Arab family came to us. I thought that they came to ask for financial assistance, but it turned out that the purpose of the visit was different. A father with his wife and the eldest daughter, who was barely 15 years old, came with their younger brothers to pray together. The family lived in a suburb of Amman.
The girl had a dream where she was told to find a church of Christians. At first, she ignored this dream, but it repeated. Only when she dreamed about it for the third time, the girl asked her father to go where the Christians are.
These first steps to Christ became the beginning of their future wanderings. After conversations and stories about the Lord, the first girl came to Christ, then the father repented, and the mother accepted the Lord as well. When the relatives of the father found out about this, they burned down their house, and then there were attempts on their lives. For more than two years, they have been wandering around Jordan, hiding from their relatives.
They can’t live in one place for more than 6 months, constantly moving and for this reason children cannot attend school. This became the price of following Christ. After praying with them and sharing our humble reserves, we blessed them, so that the Lord would continue to lead them in the name of His glory.
We are grateful to God that with each new visit to this country we see more and more new people who have come to the Lord. Sometimes we spent the night in the same rooms where the services were held. Once it was so cold that our girls could not handle it and said that they could not stay here until the morning. We decided to send them to a hotel. It was late at night. and it seemed that the problem was solved, but after an hour the girls called – they locked themselves in their hotel room because some Arab men were breaking in the door to enter the room. The girls barricaded the door, called the administrator, no one responded to the calls, they were praying and waiting for our arrival.
We immediately left for the place and one of the sons guarded them until the morning.
Despite fears and worries, we are witnesses – how much the word of God changes the consciousness of people strongly and effectively, leading them to salvation. Being in the circle of Arab brothers in Amman, performing a joint service with our musical group, it was very pleasant to hear from them that over the past two years many of them came to the Lord, including a former sheik with his wife, an imam who served in one of the mosques in the city.
Leaving Jordan, where our services were associated with experiences and trials, our hearts were filled with joy and reverence. And most of all, we rejoice that together with the brothers and sisters who supported us in prayers, we are participants in the building of the church of the Lord.
And now the journey to the next country in Middle East Lebanon awaits us – where new trials and blessings are awaiting us in the ministry among the Syrians and Iraqi refugees.
We continue to need your prayers and support for the upcoming evangelism ministries in the Middle East.
