Malawi – Pastoral Training

Malawi – Pastoral Training

By teaching church leaders, we are able to grow quantitatively and qualitatively. Churches opening in rural and very poor areas. Here, most people live off farming and their livestock. New believers will need to learn to support the pastor. When the church grows stronger and can support the pastor, we will need help with sponsoring the pastors, and help with the rental of premises. For 2 years we will need the support of $100 per month for each pastor. We plan to train up to 20 pastors a year to plant new churches.

We currently have 10 pastors who are ready to open churches in northern Malawi in the districts of Dove, Chitip, Chikangawa, Chintech, Nyungwi, Rumphi, Borelio, Kasante and Karong.

Please help us to begin this work for the glory of God! We will pray that the Lord will encourage you to work with us!

Malawi – Open Churches!

Malawi – Open Churches!

The Zambezi Gospel Church was founded by an Australian missionary, Joseph Booth, in 1892. In 1964, the leadership of the church was transferred to the indigenous people. From 1964 to 1986 there were only 35 ministers. They served in 50 mother churches and in 100 subsidiary churches.

In 1987, a biblical college was established to prepare leaders of planting new churches. Every year we graduate around 20 to 30 pastors. They received a diploma with the contingent to open a new church. Every 2-3 months they went to evangelize. Thanks to this training our union has grown several times. At the moment, funding for the Bible college has stopped, and we were forced to close it. But since we still have the building, we want to provide courses for pastors who want to plant new churches.

We have 5 districts in the north of Malawi where Islam dominates. Here we would like to establish new churches. We wish to train 20 pastors during the year, who will begin this ministry in Malawi and Mozambique. The cost of accommodation, food and tuition per person will be $ 100 per month. We believe that this ministry is pleasing to God!

May He Bless you!

Prayer for Europe!

Prayer for Europe!

Our ministry here in Nice – Sanremo has come to a final phase. We returned to the Czech Republic, as agreed after three years of Ministry. We are praying now to understand what God wants next from us.

Please pray for Brother Francois, he lives in Nice, his wife Olga is from Russia. He was born in Lebanon but grew up in France. However, the group loves to listen to him and helps with learning the language.

In the summer, young people from the city of Chernivtsi visited us, together we worshiped, sang songs and testified on the streets. As I wrote to you, this ministry was completely unusual for me, not as I imagined. God taught me to trust Him, and to walk “on the water” meaning to live by faith. Not having anybody who was supposed to come after me, God told me to be calm. I usually prepare a person, but this time everyone refused to take over the ministry in Nice and Sanremo. At the last moment, a family appeared. Francois and Olga have who dreamed of working with the Russian speaking population! God prepared them and this time did not need to prepare anybody.

The church from Milan took patronage of the church in Sanremo. They will conduct services 2 times a month, coming from Milan. Therefore, I am free before God. I see that now it is necessary to help new families moving to serve in Western Europe. Of course, we are weak, but God has power! Thank you from the heart for your support. We really need your prayers!

My Ways Are Higher Than Your Ways

My Ways Are Higher Than Your Ways

Greetings dear brothers and sisters! Recently we visited the neighboring country, Laos, and would like to share once again the wonderful ways that God leads. We had all the days planned out in which cities we were to minister and even printed cards with the verse John3:16 in Lao language. Yet, God had a better plan and we understood that on our second day, when it began down-pouring and we got stuck in one city.

God knew what He was doing because in that city, we found out that there is a protestant church. As we were looking for the church, our attention was caught by a man lying on the side of the road, and we thought he is drunk so we passed him. Not finding the church we returned to look again that maybe we just missed it. When we came by the man on the ground again, we stopped and to our surprise saw the small Evangelical Church in the background. From excitement, we walked passed him again and came up to the church and showed the John3:16 card to the people there and explained with signs that we are Christians too and they happily started telling us something in Lao and showed us where they live, which was few run down rooms attached to back of the small church building. As we were about to leave, we saw through a window a woman on oxygen support. We came into the room and all knelt down beside her with and Pastor Alexander prayed her. After the prayer, we blessed her husband, who we believe is the pastor of the church and helped them with a small financial support.

As we walked out of the church, we asked the Lao Christians about the man lying on the road and they showed us with signs that he is not a good man. As we came near him, we saw that he was no longer sleeping and decided to pray for him. As we prayed, he cried and when we gave him the John3:16 card, he read it so thoroughly and after every word he lifted up his eyes to the heavens, that we were surprised to see someone with so much awe toward God’s word, praise God!

Few days later, we visited the church again and and didn’t see the man that was on the road, but we saw lots of flowers and a portrait of a woman in the church. We found out that they had a funeral of the woman we prayed for the other day, and we praised God that He used us to provide financial help for the funeral! Glory to God, for His ways are above all our ways!“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” -Isaiah 55:8-9.

Pray for our house church

Pray for our house church

Our house church does not have a building for prayer and worship. We are meeting in houses. We pray that the Lord will give us a building so that we not only can worship there but also can hold weddings and funerals. In our culture such events are very important.

Therefore, we want to buy a property in the city. Currently, one of our brothers wants to sell his house and we want to buy this house and is build a house of prayer there.

If, by the will of God, we buy a house, then a ministry (BM) promised us to build a house of prayer from scratch.

Now our brother wants to sell his house where we are meeting to on Sundays and is asking for $30,000, this is a good price for this area.

This house is located in the city and it is convenient for all pedestrians to reach. Since many of us do not have a car, we all use public transportation like the Minibus bus and taxi.

Some neighbors have heard about the sale and want to buy this house. But our brother made a good price and does not want to sell to other people for the sake of our prayer group.

We have 1000 dollars that we have been saving for many years for this need.

I ask you to pray about this so that we can buy this property and find the needed funds for this.

One Church in Germany agreed to send from 2,000 to 3,000 dollars. There are individual people who also want to help in this need.

We need now $26,000. Brothers and sisters, please pray for this need. Many of you know that we do not have a house of prayer.

You contact our senior pastor of the city of Dushanbe Kamil Abdullaev.

Dasha is in Serious Condition

Dasha is in Serious Condition

Greetings, brothers and sisters! I want to express my gratitude for your desire to help children. Dasha, about whom I already previously wrote, is in serious condition, she had another operation on her head, nobody is allowed to see her except for her mother. Therefore, we take care of the girl through her mother Anastasia. She in a serious emotional state, she can’t control her emotions even when being with the doctors. It is very difficult to imagine how a mother is feeling, having the only child being between life and death.

Anastasia is thankful for the help. She does not understand how strangers can be so compassionate. The father of the child is indifferent, he has no contact with Anastasia. He was the only support, but a month ago he left them. And now strangers became closer to them than their own relatives. Jesus is telling the truth when talking about the good Samaritan, that the neighbor is the one who helps.

Every week we go to the oncology clinic and help children cope with their difficult diagnosis. Parents of such children are no less in serious condition. They are desperate and need both prayers and material support.

Thank you for participating in this ministry. Without you, we could not help so many in need!
